Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our packaging and processing team at our Craft Grow facility in Tilton, Illinois. As a Packaging & Processing Team Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products are carefully prepared and packaged for distribution in compliance with state regulations and company standards.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in harvest and post-harvest activities including but not limited to weighing, sorting, trimming, packaging and labelling cannabis products according to company procedures and state regulations.
- Perform quality control checks to verify product integrity and compliance with specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of trimming and packaging areas to uphold sanitary standards.
- Operate trimming and packaging equipment safely and efficiently, following training and guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in packaging or manufacturing preferred, ideally in a regulated industry.
- Knowledge of cannabis packaging regulations (preferred but not required; training will be provided).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Willingness to learn and follow strict procedures and protocols.
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends as needed.

Position Overview:
As a Cultivation Technician, you will play a vital role in the cultivation and care of cannabis plants from seed to harvest. You will work closely with our cultivation team to ensure the highest standards of quality, productivity, and compliance with state regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and rapidly growing industry while contributing to the success of our craft cannabis operation.
Responsibilities:
1. Plant Care: Execute daily tasks including watering, pruning, and feeding of cannabis plants according to established protocols.
2. Crop Maintenance: Monitor plant health and identify signs of pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies; take appropriate actions to maintain plant vigor and vitality.
3. Environmental Control: Maintain optimal environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, and lighting to support healthy plant growth and maximize yield.
4. Harvesting: Participate in the harvesting process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.
5. Recordkeeping: Keep detailed records of cultivation activities, including plant inventory, cultivation logs, and quality control data, to ensure traceability and compliance with state regulations.
6. Facility Maintenance: Assist with general maintenance tasks such as cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing cultivation areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
7. Compliance: Adhere to all state and local regulations governing cannabis cultivation, including but not limited to security, pesticide use, and waste disposal.
Qualifications:
1. Experience: Previous experience in cannabis cultivation or horticulture preferred but not required. Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and best practices is essential.
2. Knowledge: Basic understanding of plant biology, cultivation techniques, and environmental control systems. Familiarity with cannabis genetics, strains, and cultivation methods is a plus.
3. Attention to Detail: Ability to follow detailed instructions and protocols with precision and accuracy. Strong observational skills and attention to detail to identify and address plant health issues.
4. Team Player: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Willingness to support colleagues and contribute to a positive work culture.
5. Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
6. Flexibility: Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed to support cultivation operations and meet production deadlines.
7. Compliance: Understanding of and commitment to strict compliance with state and local cannabis regulations. Must pass a background check and obtain any required cannabis industry credentials or licenses.
